Welcome back! April has been a busy month, and as it comes to a close, we'd like to tell you a little about what we've been up to. There has been a whole lot of movement within our company, as team members walked to help support MS research and a longtime employee prepares to make the move back to the branch where he first started. Plus, we're also gearing up for the Southern California Facilities Expo this May and we hope to see you there! Manager on the Move - Huntington Beach Welcomes Back John Sanford

Customers in Southern California will soon be seeing a familiar face again as California Boiler is pleased to announce that John Sanford, the General Manager of the Modesto branch will be returning to Huntington Beach. John had been a part of the Huntington Beach branch for over 10 years prior to being promoted to General Manager of the Modesto branch in 2010. Effective May 6, John will be heading up Aftermarket Sales in Huntington Beach where he will consult with customers about how to improve boiler system efficiency and save money on energy costs by implementing strategic upgrades and retrofits.
As for Modesto, the very capable Terry Johnson will be taking over John's duties as General Manager, so customers can be assured of receiving the same quality service and dependable support that they depend upon from California Boiler.
Congratulations to Terry, and welcome back John!

Team Members Walk for MS
On Saturday, April 6, a number of California Boiler team members took a quick break from boilers and headed over to UC Irvine to participate in WALK MS, an event organized to help fund and support research and financial relief for people dealing with Multiple Sclerosis.
Together, over a dozen California Boiler employees, spouses, friends, a baby and even a beloved family dog raised over $1,200 that will go to funding the development of new treatments for people with MS, providing financial support for people dealing with the havoc MS causes, as well as supporting local programs. The walk itself, which consisted of a two mile hike around the perimeter of the beautiful UC Irvine campus, demonstrated the power of connections and brought in over $425,000 to support the cause.
California Boiler is proud to have been able to play a role in contributing to people affected by Multiple Sclerosis and looks forward to next year's event! |
